Add sales screenshots for accurate reviews/pricing

Anonymous 3 years ago updated by sales 3 years ago 1

I noticed there are some games that for various reasons have inaccurate prices listed, especially in the CIB category.

Unfortunately, sales for some rarer games are not frequent enough to make data reliable (i.e. there's not much historical data and it's not reportable anymore), so the final average price is not so much reliable.

For this reason, prices should be reportable even after 90 days are passed, i.e. after eBay removes the auction from their website.A solution may be to simply attach an automated screenshot of the auction page to the price record. Users will be able to review the price even after eBay removes the auction.

As a User adding missing ebay sales, I want the ability to specify if the listing was for loose, cib, sealed, graded, box only, or manual only

When adding missing ebay sales, users should have the ability to specify if the ebay sale was for loose, cib, sealed, graded, box only, or manual only in order to accurately add the sale to the Pricecharting database.

Ability to view all ebay listing photos on the Review Reported Sales tool when reviewing reported sales without accessing ebay link

jtsuter 3 years ago 0

When reviewing reported sales, you cannot accurately determine if a listing is CIB, Sealed, Loose, Manual, etc until you view all photos on the ebay listing.  Therefore, each time you review a reported sale, you have to click the ebay link, then cycle through all the photos.  This is very annoying and time consuming.  It would be much more efficient if Pricecharting pulls all of the photos that were included in the listing and displayed them all in the Review Reported Sales interface.

Add half/middle grades to the drop down when identifying grades in our collections

Anonymous 3 years ago updated by sales 1 year ago 2

Beckett and CGC are sending more and more 8.5's and 7.5's back. Add these options to the drop down menu so we can accurately identify things in our collections.

Thanks!

Allow the ability to browse other collections while allowing collectors to select items in their collection to "taking offers"

Anonymous 3 years ago updated 9 months ago 2

This feature could dramatically improve the marketplace here and allow others to browse existing collections here while having the ability to submit offers for games that have not been placed for sale in the marketplace..

[API Improvement] Webhook Notifications for bots

taylor smithgg 3 years ago updated 2 years ago 1

All of the bot tools are fantastic, but it would be great to be able to connect them externally with custom integrations.

By adding a webhook subscription implementation, a standard interface could be exposed that would allow developers to programmatically receive the push alerts to a custom destination without the overhead of browser notifications.

Price you paid - inflation

elikapo333 3 years ago updated by sales 3 years ago 1

First of all, thank you for the fantastic work you do on this site. This is such a valuable tool and really adds a lot of fun and satisfaction to collecting.

With inflation how it is, I feel it would be useful to have the option to add the year purchased to each game, and to then allow users to toggle between original price they paid vs that price adjusted for inflation. It may look like a particular game has skyrocketed in value, but if it's something that was bought even 3 years ago adjust ing purchase price for inflation may show the user that what they paid back then is still in line with market rate. Or in the flip side that the true value of a game really has risen since they bought it.
