I added a bunch of different sets to the site and moved/added some cards around.
Added subset cards for Die Cut, Clear, etc. If the numbering is different than the main line cards it got a new subset.
I added all of the Johto cards and their subsets too.
All of these changes will be visible within 24 hours.
I decided to leave the names for the sets we already have (some slight changes) and use the copyright date printed on the cards. That is information on the card and that is info that people often use when selling the cards too.
Thank you for this info. I will need to look this over more to decide how to proceed.
The problem with using "Series 1" or "Series 2" for the names is, those names aren't written on the cards. If someone just has a card they don't know what series they have. But the year is printed on the cards.
I need to see what names are most commonly used with buyers and sellers and see how we can change these names around. Some of the "subsets" are just variant cards like "Rainbow" or "Foil", we include those in the main set if the number is the same and the card looks the same but there is a variation. Subsets should have different numbering system. Some of your examples like "Clear" and "Die Cut" fall into that category because the numbers are different.

You can email me about missing issues now though and I will add them. Please give me the full name, issue number, and year published to make it clear which ones are missing. Or you can send a phot of the issue too. sales@vgpc.com
Thanks for reaching out. We definitely want to add any missing sets or correct any problems too with set names etc.
Right now we have these Topps sets on the site:
1999 Topps Movie
1999 Topps TV
2000 Topps Movie
2000 Topps TV
2000 Topps Chrome (we have series 1-3) in this set because they came out the same time and the card numbers are sequential
Please let me know what names you would use for the sets. What sets are missing. And any other changes we need to make.
Thank you
We do track prices for those items. We put them in the Asian English "region". Here is one example for PS3.

Korean games that have English support would go into this category. Thank you
We already have PAL (Europe) pricing for all video games on the site. If you add "PAL" in your searches you will see those. Make sure you don't have PAL region excluded from search results.
We have Wrestling cards on the site already.

You need to visit our sister site to access them and search for them, but the same login and tools work on both sites.
That option is still available in the filters section. That is also the default for users to the site, unless they've chosen a different default that they prefer.
Please change the sort order to "Release Date" in the "Sort & Filter" section on any comic set page. For example:

We are a price guide and collection tracking service. We do not buy and sell all the collectibles listed on our site. The owners do buy and sell for their own collections, but PriceCharting does not do that as a business.

I appreciate your feedback. I can understand your points.
Like you said in a previous comment, people can't identify the card set based off of the card alone. We are using the copyright date for the sets (not the release date because that isn't printed on the cards or the packs for that matter).
Most people who use our site use the search feature and they would search "Pikachu Topps TV" and maybe the card number and find their card on the site. Then they will look at the picture and see that it matches their card.
We are going to stick with the names we have on the site because it works for our users and matches the other card categories that use the same set naming convention.
I appreciate your info on this because it did help us improve the data we do have (and add some missing cards).
