Match lowest price option

Anonymous 11 years ago updated by Fayez Fawzi 9 years ago 3

It is a hassle, especially if you have many items, to know whether your listed prices are in line with others who might also be selling the same game(s). An example is Amazon's "Match lowest Price" option for sellers. It keeps prices in check while also helping to curb artificially inflating game values.

Messaging system via website

We need to be able to communicate directly through the website. The e-mail messaging system gets lost with the hundreds of other e-mails I recieve. Plus it'd be a lot easier to organize and go through the messages and whatnot

Add marketplace features to the current PriceCharting mobile app

Anonymous 10 years ago updated 10 years ago 1

It would be useful to be able to view the marketplace through the mobile app. I would especially be interested in features similar to the eBay mobile app. Mainly ones, such as getting a notification on my phone when an item sells. This would allow me to potentially ship sold items more quickly.

Fix the NEW Sealed $ = it is lower than "loose" in Dreamcast

Anonymous 11 years ago updated by sales 9 years ago 2

Your pricing on some rare games makes no sense - for instance Bang-O NEW sealed copy is less than a loose price. Obviously this makes no sense and your system should recognize this. Don't use any price would be better - although I found examples offered on games on Amazon. This is a bad flaw, and really hurts the credability of your site.

We are monitoring prices on a daily basis to remove junk listings (the root cause) and fix price inversions like you mentioned. We want to fix these whenever possible.

Tig makes a very good point though about games with old sales data.

The last sale might have been years ago. We can either use that as the price, or we can extrapolate how much the game might be worth today instead. The 2nd option is fraught with inaccuracies so we decided to go with option 1 and show users the sales history.

Raw card value with grading profit tab

TLC yesterday at 1:21 p.m. 0

Hi Team,

I wanted to share a feature suggestion that I think would greatly improve the user experience, especially for vendors who regularly evaluate cards for grading.

Currently, the Grading Profit tab displays PSA 10, PSA 9, and PSA 8 values, which is very useful. However, it would be even more helpful if the raw card value could also be displayed directly on the same screen.

As a vendor, it's somewhat cumbersome to click into a card just to view the raw value, then have to navigate back multiple screens to return to the collection and grading profit tabs. This process becomes even more time-consuming when reviewing large collections.

For example, we often purchase small and large collections, create folders, import the cards, and then use the Grading Profit tab to determine which cards may be worth grading. Having the raw value displayed alongside the PSA 10, 9, and 8 values would allow us to make those decisions much more efficiently without constantly opening individual card pages.

I believe this would streamline the workflow significantly and provide all the key pricing information in one place. I've also spoken with several other vendors at card shows, and many have mentioned that they would find this feature beneficial as well.

I'm not sure if this suggestion has been brought up before, but I wanted to pass it along for consideration. Thank you for continuing to improve the platform and for taking the time to review feedback from the community.

Sold option is great but...

Anonymous 2 days ago 0

if i have a quantity of lets say 50 pikachus that i paid $50 for, and i sold 1 of them for $5.  I should be able to go into that and deduct 1 pikachu from the 50.  Instead i have to remove 1 from it, then add 1 on its own, then go and put in the sale.  Can this be optimized to allow 1 of the original position of 50 to be counted as sold?
