Add a "damaged" sold tab

jonathanmoore421 12 months ago 0

Add a "damaged" tab to the section where you can view Ungraded, PSA 7, PSA 8, PSA 9, PSA10.  I assume there is some algorithm which searches sold listings on eBay for keywords (PSA10, Damaged, etc).  I feel like there needs to be a damaged tab so the prices for damaged sales stop wildly affecting the section reserved for (what i feel) should be LP/NM/M cards (currently the "ungraded" tab).  My example is my Venusaur EX from Pokemon Fire Red Leaf Green.  NM sales are upwards of $200, however many of the cards sold are HP/damaged which has brought the ungraded "value" of this card to an average of around $60, which is not indicative of the actual value for a LP/NM/M card.  Ungraded card tab should be divided into damaged/HP and LP/NM/M.  It seems like this sort of change could apply to all categories of collectibles on the site, not just trading cards, and would not take an extreme amount of programming to accomplish.  Thanks for reading.

Bug: Incorrect Collection Count

GVCope 12 months ago updated by sales 11 months ago 1

My video game collection page shows games listed that I cannot delete. This was impacting the count and price of my collection. I initially tried reseting my cookies/history then even decited to "delete collection" but did not fix.

I had began adding games from the Video Game list into my collection and noticed the count was incorrect. It states I own 2 Nintendo 64 games that I cannot delete or edit. In the Game List Of Nintendo 64 Video Games, it shows I own "Gauntlet Legends" and "Tony Hawk 2" but when I click on the orange button it states "You have no items in your collection".

Add the ability for the collection value graph to change depending on category chosen rather than reflecting cumulative collection value.

Anonymous 12 months ago 0

Currently at the moment the value graph on the collections tab shows your collection as a whole. However when you change categories like for example pokémon cards the graph won't change to reflect just pokémon cards.

Add a distinction between single comic books and trade paperbacks

gaming 12 months ago updated 12 months ago 2

People are already using PriceCharting to list compilation books like TPBs and omnibus editions under the comic books section, and they do have value. Doing so would also make it easier to declutter the listings for comics because there would be less false positives from TPB and omnibus listings on the single books since the collections would tag the listing instead.

The AI should be able to NOT include fake carts labeled "Brand New" (at least in the "loose" category)

Anonymous 12 months ago updated by sales 12 months ago 5

We all know reproductions are a huge problem in this industry.

At least those fake carts listed on ebay as ''Brand New" should not be counted in the "loose" sales list.
This is just impossible, it can't be loose and considered "Brand New" if there is no box and manual...

I know you want examples: go see the loose listings for Zelda Minish Cap on GBA, you'll find several very cheap sales (which I already reported) and when you clik on the Ebay sale details you'll see them labeled as "Brand New" so you know it is a fake cart.

Thanks

Deeper Archive Game Variants and Images for "CIB" Reference & Fake Comparison

Anonymous 12 months ago updated 12 months ago 3

I would like to recommend we have a much deeper Archive of Screenshot Data per game in terms of Screenshots or Scans

1 - I would like to upload individual screenshots or Scans of game manual pages preferrably in their own tab for quality purposes or possible fake prints comparison , A manual is only as good as any book , what good is any book missing 7 pages. (I would 100% Recommend a Watermark on any upload to prevent Faking)

2- I would also like to upload Individual Screenshots of Various Angles of Cases including internal assembly of case to prove legitimacy , this would include Advertisements , inserts , reversible covers , Multi Disk Specialised cases , etc  (Unfortunately almost all open games in my own collection have been disassembled to this point insert wise and sorted into file folders for storage saving purposes but I am happy to continue taking new screenshots of internals as freshly opened should it become a relevant feature later)

3- For games from the cartridge Era I would also like to have a subsection on game pages for Sub Variants of Cartridges not individually listed (See Below)
Screenshots of Sub-versions or Variants of Games
, I at one point realised I was running out of games to collect in my own collection locally ( I never order online I believe it should be a treasure hunt so I only nab local or semi local (Within an hour transit) treasures)
Point - I have noticed there are SO many variant versions of each individual game , most details can be seen simply from each games cover Art , So , I started going out of my way to not only nab 1 of every game for every console , but also , One of every different variant version of each individual game , Back in that Era we didnt have DLC Patches , we had Recalls , and/or Re-vision of a Cartridge which are represented by the code on the cartridge itself , the higher the Revision number , The more Bugs , or Exploits have been patched this was generally visible via the "Cartridge Code" on the Front of the game , Usually ending in no Number , a -1 , -2 -3 etc , Regions were also included in the code the the obvious CAN or USA,
I feel some of these cartridges are far more rare than others and we as a community can help identify which are most common or more rare simply based on which versions are added to users collections
For Variant versions we can have quite an overflow of various versions for some games so I would leave those details up to higher administration to decide whether those versions be represented under a new tab on the individual game window itself or the Game Listings for that console (Which would quickly turn into a nightmare as theres already quite a vew obvious versions of some cartridges)
Nowadays theres a very limited number of game versions due to "Downloadable Patching" I enjoy finding versions of my games that are almost un-noticeably different from each other , and will continue to do so
Thank you for Reading

Don't delete the search field after a search

mccarthy corey 1 year ago 0

Just leave the search in the search field after a search.    Sometimes I want to look up a bunch of similar cards just with a slight variation.  Or sometimes I type the name wrong by 1 letter, and bc your search field deletes I have to retype the whole thing over again. Thanks!!!!
