Option to only get wishlist notifications for listings in specific condition

Lilei Ei 3 years ago updated 1 year ago 4

As of right now, the wishlist feature notifies you no matter what condition an item listed is in. I would really appreciate it if you could add an option to make it so that you only get the notification if the item is in your chosen condition (loose/cib/new, etc).

Alternatively, a more advanced solution to this problem might be an option to filter out listings with certain keywords. For example, the wishlist feature frequently sends me notifications when game guides are listed for games on my list. If there were a list of words in a listing to ignore i could set on the website, then I could tell it to filter say, "guide" or "brady" (as in bradygames), and thereby reduce the number of false alarm emails.

Thanks!

Half Grades

Anonymous 4 years ago updated 5 days ago 6

Adding half grade (7.5,8.5,9.5, etc.) would be awesome in understanding the price differences between a half and full grade. Seeing a lot of 8.5 grades come back from CGC and the pricing compared to the full grade below and above is vastly different between cards.

Show a running total overall of how much I paid for my collection

Anonymous 4 years ago updated by sales 4 years ago 3

I’m adding in how much I paid for a game (some entries going back 30+years ago when I originally purchased them). I see the ‘how much I paid’ column and how much the game is worth now so I can compare that single item.

I’d also like to see the ‘How much I paid’ column automatically be added up to give a total overall of how much I paid, so I can see and compare that with how much my collection is worth now.

Add ability to filter Homebrew and Prototype releases

Anonymous 4 years ago updated by sales 3 years ago 2

Collectors typically don't include homebrew and prototype releases in the definition of a complete collection, so their presence in the price list makes it very difficult to see the state of one's collection. Being able to filter out these kinds of releases would allow completionists to see a satisfying page full of orange "In Collection" icons, or be able to easily pick out the games they're missing.

Many times I buy a big lot and I want to enter the value for everything. Once entered I want to see if it's in my collection and I want to be able to add to my collection from the lot value collector.

Add Garbage Pail Kids Cards

shabealansullivan 5 years ago updated by sales 3 years ago 7

I only use PriceCharting for tracking my video game collection! It’s an amazing resource. I would love to see you begin tracking Garbage Pail Kids cards. While my collection is very large, I have no good way to track everything. That would be a great addition!  Thanks

Exclude Items in My Collection from Buy page and Games list

Exclude My Collection from Buy page and Games list

I would like to exclude any games already in my collection when I browse the Buy page and a Games list page.

My two use cases:

Show me all <system> games for sale that I don't currently own on

https://www.pricecharting.com/search-products?q=&sort=name&console-uid=G17&genre-name=®ion-name=all&exclude-variants=false&stock=in

Show me all games in the Games list that I don't currently own on

You can filter the set pages to hide or show only items that you own.  There is a filter called "Collection Status"  you can choose "own only" or "don't own" and see the list based on that.

Thank you

Track inserts for CIB collections

Anonymous 5 years ago updated by ninjapresident 5 years ago 1

Could we get a category for inserts? Things like posters, maps, registration cards, safety instructions, promo ads, collectibles (ex: yugioh cards bundled with game), etc. There really is no database which keeps track of what games have what inserts, and a game really isn't truly CIB unless it has them.

I'd go so far as to remove the 'manual' category and replace it with inserts and make manuals another insert.
