Yep, there are email notifications when one of your items sells. You can also see your sold listings by visiting:

We have plans for adding the marketplace items to the sniper, but no exact time frame for doing it yet. We didn't feel that was a feature that was absolutely necessary for launch.
Thanks for your concern. If someone is worried about that, the best thing to do is not transact with someone with 0 reputation. There is always more risk transacting with someone with no history to go on.
Paypal and eBay are separate companies now so Paypal would not be biased based upon any competitive factor. Up until several months ago that might have been a concern
Thank you for your feedback. Users have been able to create accounts on our site for the last six years, not to participate in a marketplace but to do other things on our website. To reward long time users we count the date when they first started their account.

It works for reputation as well because they are people who have had an account for years, long before we even thought of a marketplace. Someone who created an account 6 years ago vs someone who created an account 1 hour ago, are very different in terms of the risk of transacting with them. We take that into account and let users know this as well.
You can make as many manual listings as you want. There is no limit.
Every item on the site has a 14 day money back return policy. All sellers agree to offer that as a minimum return policy for what they sell.

There is a feedback system in place so buyers and sellers will leave feedback for each other. Users should transact with people with higher feedback ratings if they want more assurance the transaction will go smoothly.

There will be no seller or buyer protection offered by us. The marketplace is free so we cannot afford to offer any guarantees.
This is a duplicate of another issue.
