Set Your Price for Marketplace Notification

Mike Schneider 11 months ago updated by sales 11 months ago 1

Getting notified when a wishlist item is listed at 'under market price' when it's 99% of market price is basically junk mail. This goes double for notifications about copies of the game which are too far above or below what I'm currently looking for. ( For example: If someone is collecting loose NES cartridges, even a good price on a graded copy might be 50-100+x what they're looking to spend. )

With every item on my wishlist, there are conditions/ levels of completeness I'm looking for and a price point I have in mind that I'm looking to spend for them. If notifications could be tailored to that, it would be infinitely more useful. There is a point where any notification I can get to fast enough would result in a sale.

If those price points were visible to potential sellers they would know at what price they'd need to list the item for it to sell quickly. ( Heck, I know I'd be interesting to see how those numbers chart compared to what the game is currently selling for on ebay. ) It could even open the door to sellers being able to propose bulk deals to buyers. There are so many games that are valued less than the cost of shipping but if they have 10 or 20+ titles that are on someone's wish list which they would happily sell for equal or less than that buyer says they're willing to pay, there's absolutely deals to be made.

filter ebay alerts by Type (NEW, SEALED vs CIB vs Loose)

Anonymous 11 months ago 0

When i get ebay alerts from items in my wishlist being below the market place threshold, I receive a LOT of junk messages becausce i cannot specify the type of listing (NEW vs CIB vs LOOSE).    Please allow us to customize our ebay alterts in this way.

Ref: Market. Add filter for country item is being sold from. Import tax/duty/courier fee.

As title reads. A particular benefit for Canada as our government charges far too many fees along with courier fees to add on. This would allow me to see items within Canada without having to click on individual sales.

McDonald's Training - Incorrect CIB sale

Anonymous 11 months ago updated by sales 11 months ago 3

The McDonald's Training has a CIB sale, which is incorrect; it is missing the manual and therefore should be listed as Item & Box.

Time frame input for looking at the data graph for collection or other sections as opposed to just the canned 6mo, 1 yr etc.

Anonymous 11 months ago 0

For a collector and particularly someone looking to open a business, having the ability to input very specific time frames to view the charts is a necessity. The canned options are good, but I would like to be able to look into very specific date ranges as well.

Bay - "We looked everywhere. Looks like this page is missing."

Anonymous 11 months ago updated by dilks44 11 months ago 9

This shows up in so many of the links I click on this site. There has got to be a way where we can preserve the eBay listings. Something similar to wayback machine.. Are you guys looking into this at all?

For example all of the links on this page:
https://www.pricecharting.com/game/xbox-360/xbox-360-elite-resident-evil-5-version

Also could you please update that page with this recently sold transaction.

Do the prices include shipping? Because IMO they should..

Allow collections to be filtered by groups

Anonymous 11 months ago updated by sales 11 months ago 1

Being able to filter your collection by groups, the same way you can filter by folders, would be a great time saver for someone like me who is trying to find the value of each group in collection. Without this feature, I'm forced to manually add each item I add to a folder so I can filter them later and see the total market value of that group.

Add "Computer Gaming World" Magazine

Sigoya 11 months ago 0

Computer Gaming World is one of the original gaming magazines that ran from early 80s covering all things PC gaming and has a massive legacy and backlog that deserves its place on the site.

I can assist in adding all the issues if approved!
