CAN WE EDIT FOLDER NAMES IN "MY COLLECTION"?

Amy D 2 years ago updated by sales 2 years ago 2

1. FOLDERS:

  • THANK YOU!!!  In my opinion, Folders are likely the best improvement I've seen from P.C. to date, and I'm well into updating my collection!
  • The biggest hurdle that kept from using P.C. as my go-to for selling (consoles, games, etc.) was the inability to separate & filter Collection Items from Sale Items.  We are collectors first, and till now, we have gotten the most value from PriceCharting by using it as an asset management tool for our personal collection. We clean, restore, and repair games & consoles to offset some of our collecting costs, but our selling volume is low, comparatively, so we chose to to sell elsewhere.  Now, with custom folders, I am adding my selling inventory to P.C., too. Yay!!!

2. EDIT FOLDERS

  • The way this was implemented surpassed my expectations!  That said, I have searched and searched, and I can't figure out how to EDIT FOLDER NAMES.  If this is already an option, disregard and point me in the right direction.  If this is not available, is there any word on if or when it might be?

Thank you for your time.

search result count

dijourno 2 years ago updated 2 years ago 4

After choosing sort and filter options and clicking "Refresh", show the count of the number of records returned.

That should already be the behavior.  After you refresh the results the total number of results does update unless the result count is still higher than the limit we show on search results.

Here is a result for "Mario Party" with 62 results.

https://www.pricecharting.com/search-products?type=prices&q=mario+party

I filter by console = "Gamecube" and the result is 5

https://www.pricecharting.com/search-products?q=mario+party&type=prices&sort=name&console-uid=G3®ion-name=all&exclude-variants=true

Please let me know if I am misunderstanding the question.

Migration or Notification of Deleted Items from database

Eric Mason 2 years ago updated 1 year ago 2

In removing two items: Jurassic Park: Rampage Edition [Cardboard Box] and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 [Cardboard Box] from the pricecharting database, these items were removed from my collection. I have lost information in this regard because I had the Price Paid information there, did not have it anywhere else, and don't remember it.

Please implement a way to migrate or link to a replacement product, or provide email notification to the user (preferably with previously entered information) that an item was deleted from the database and subsequently from the collection.

Add the Polymega Console and it's modules for tracking purposes

Anonymous 2 years ago 0

The Polymega is an emulation console with swappable modules to support many retro consoles. It'd be nice to be able to add the system and it's many modules, controllers, and accessories to my collection

Provide a scanner option for pokemon cards to find the market value when selling or adding to your collection

Anna 2 years ago updated by sales 7 months ago 5

Provide a scanner option for pokemon cards to find the market value when selling or adding to your collection. There are several apps that have this but none of them have a good scanner. Make yours the BEST and profit from it!! I use this site above any others bc of the simplicity and ease to find a cards value. I love how there are no ads and it's free. It's unheard of these days and you guys did it right, thank you so much. It would be so cool though to have a way to simply be able to scan the cards instead of having to take a pic and upload it

PriceIt Game

Anonymous 2 years ago updated 2 years ago 2

Have an option for prices in CIB price.

Played the game once, got most of them wrong and was thinking the prices seemed low when playing. I only ever think about CIB pricing honestly lol

There should be an option for that in the game!

Add the ability to have multiple lot value lists

Anonymous 2 years ago updated by sales 2 years ago 1

I think it would be great to have the ability to work on multiple lot value calculator lists at once, this would allow tracking on multiple possible buys at once (for paid subscriptions only).
