Visited links shouldn't change colors

ClassicElectrics 3 years ago updated 3 years ago 4

Please do away with the visited link color. There's no reason, on a site like this one, that a followed link should be represented with a different color. It makes things harder to read, especially when in dark mode.

Something must be done to make prices more accurate!

Anonymous 3 years ago updated 3 years ago 4

For example, just take a look at the NES games.... This is a total cluster F! Everyone that releases a "Homebrew" or "Limited" release is added to the complete set and it's a pure cluster F! These must be removed from the list and put into a separate catagory because there's no way a game released in artificial limited quanities, has value that impacts the total value per cart for the total NES library! In the words of Dr. Fauchi "It just makes common sense". I've noticed lots of discrepancies from pricecharting compared to the "actual" sale prices. It's getting a little out of control because most sales of rare games haven't happened in a year+, yet the last sale was $100 more then what "YOU" value it at. Other example games are selling for 50%+ more compared to what "You" say they are worth, yet they only gain a mere 5% value per month??? Most games are selling for a lot higher compared to the "pricecharting" ;-) confirmed price. I've been following many of my purchases and have noticed a neglegable price impact to the downside or the upside even though some of my purchases have been the only one seen in years on Ebay. (For example, the last known game sale was 3 years ago selling for $200 and only 1 shows up every couple years, even though I made a purchase on Ebay and paid $400 for it the game will now show a value of only $250). I don't know what your interest is in manipulating prices but it isn't working and NO DEALER I've encountered will match them. In fact if you talk to any dealers about price charting prices they will laugh at you.

Better listing idea

Gerrit Dykstra 7 years ago 0

I would suggest changing the price layout from loose, complete, new, graded, box only, manual only to this format: loose, manual only, box only, complete, new and graded.

Could you do this for other collectibles: coins, paper money, tokens, medals. There is definite demand out there! At present I am paying US$100 per year for price information on foreign paper money.

There is no one site with all pricing information for auction/ebay results for numismatic items.

When you search for Vampire Rain Altered Species for PS3, the link brings up Ferrari Challenge for the Nintendo DS. Just a heads up. Thank you for hosting such an amazing WebSite. I use it everyday. :)

How are sellers shipping free for low value items?

Anonymous 9 years ago updated by sales 8 years ago 3

While browsing the available games, I notice quite a few low value games with free shipping. For example a cartridge might be selling for $2.00 or $2.10 with free shipping included. As far as I'm aware, the cheapest shipping option available to the sellers is approximately $2.13 or thereabouts. Are the sellers just selling these items for the feedback? After the payment processing fee the sellers will be losing money on these sales. Or could it be a scam? Seems a waste of time, but are some of these scammers, if that is what they are, actually hoping to make a few quick $2 sales and run?
