If possible you should add a ’Like new’’ option. Games that are like new should not be priced the same as scratched up games with a wrinkled manual, this might be difficult to get data on for you guys. I would just really like that option because the value of my collection is a lot higher than what shows.
I record the actual item code for all my manuals, cartridges, boxes, and other inserts. Some examples of SNES cartridges, manuals, boxes, include:
SNS-ARJE-USA |
SNS-E5-USA |
SNS-CM-USA |
There are various box, manual, and cartridge variants which I would like to track and the way to do that is via the Serial Codes. Please include on the importer and exporter.
I would like to see a feature similar to a Wishlist, but it would be more of an avoid list. I use pricecharting to keep track of my collection (it's very large). Recently, I've begun to replay (or play) my whole collection and get rid of games I do not like enough to keep. I would love an option to check off or avoid a game so that I do not buy it again in the future. Some games look or sound way cooler than they are. I'd like to have a way to prevent Mr from repurchasing games. A list to help me keep track of games I've played, don't like, and never want to purchase (or repurchase accidentally). Right now I need to use a different app for this.
Nowadays we see more Consoles and their variations being added in the lists, but they are all marked as 'Videogames' in the category list. I hope its possible to add a new category 'Consoles' so we can look them up more separately. There are still a lot of variants of Consoles missing, but they are being sold on ebay/amazon/etc. I often wander what they are actually worth and hope we can see that here in the near future.
Retro brawlers, 8bitdo, retrobit, & hyperkin are all pretty reputable for the most part. Intec gaming is kindve underground. Also being able to catalog clone consoles would be cool too.
I think it would be so convenient if Video Game Price Charting added retro brawlers controllers to the database, along with various wireless controllers for older consoles that didn’t originally include wireless. Examples are 8bitdo sn30, retrobit tribute64, hyperkin admiral, intec gaming wireless Bluetooth receivers for various retro consoles.
When you sell an item, it is no longer in your collection as you have sold it. I think it should automatically be removed.
Closing as a duplicate.

I've loved this website for organizing video games, adding in pc games, and pokemon cards was a huge plus for me, I was just wondering if there were plans to add other trading cards? I have YuGiOh
Other cards would be great too. Skylanders, Dragonball GT, Bakugan, and tons of other tcg's I'd love to catalog.
It would be very helpful if there was some indication on the site about how in-demand a game is to be purchased on the site. Either giving the total # of people who currently have the item on their wish list or a more generic statement saying the item is in high, medium, low demand. Those of us who sell games can then use that to help push more inventory with a better idea if it will sell.
If one has Contributor Privileges they can submit missing game titles. However somebody who does not have these privileges (most Users here I believe) cannot keep a full and thorough database of their personal collection on this site, as a lot of games/items are not listed.
Unfortunately, even with the immense number of games here at pricecharting, I regularly bump into titles that are missing either fully or for one or more regions.
If we could simply have the option to add any manual entries for ourselves as well as any details for these entries (value, cost, condition etc) we would be able to put together a complete record of our FULL collection.
This would also be immensely helpful in keeping track of other types of items that similarly do not have any record on the site, such as:
- Promo versions of games
- Promotional items (standees, posters etc)
- Kiosks
- Press Kits
- Arcade machines
- Any non-video game items that usually people still consider as part of their video game collection (video game board games, figurines, plushies, books etc)
....pretty much any others video game related items/memorabilia (from free stickers to contest prizes)
These would naturally not be linked to any pricecharting metric/value/entry as they are not available on the site. We could either skip adding the value or value them based on our own judgment or our own ebay research.
This would of course NOT be public either, anybody could add any entry they'd like for themselves under their own account.
I believe this would be an extremely useful feature, because being able to upload 70-80-90 % of your collection but not everything, ultimately defeats the main purpose of the "Collection" section.
Let us know what features you want on PriceCharting.
