price guide for DVD movies & shows

Anonymous 9 years ago updated 3 weeks ago 12

I had a bunch of dvds and I was wondering wat the movies were selling for. Can you add a movie price guide to this site.

We used to have this feature but closed it down years ago.

In our experience, most DVD's aren't worth very much and very few are worth a bunch of money.  There wasn't much demand for a price guide when we had it on the site.  Things might have changed over the last 10 years but I still buy most of my DVD's for $3 or so and hardly ever see ones worth more than $10 so I don't think this is a market we will be jumping into soon.

bring it back some of us collect movies and tv it’s still a thing can’t leave out one thing just cause they aren’t worth much to you

any one have any blu rays or dvds they want to donate to a good cause?

Anyone have any blu rays and or dvds they would want to donate to a good cause? I would be donating to homeless shelters and nursing homes and hospitals in my state. I have done this with sports cards in the past and they loved it

I think it would be good to revisit with things such as VHS, DVDs, Blu-ray and 4k as options as it seems like there is a large physical Movie & TV Show community.

This would be neat in my opinion... even if it was only for the video game related media (Mega Man, Captain N, stuff like that).  I can definitely see the appeal, perhaps starting small might be a good idea, since it drove up server costs significantly at one point per your blog post.

There are probably some holy grails out there but I imagine this would be more a collection tracking feature than actually for buying/selling. Never know though.

I would welcome it simply as a way to easily track and share my collection though, keeping it in proximity to my games/comics/etc.

yes, please bring back the ability to track movie collections! Even if they are not worth much, having all media in the same app is valuable to the end user!  I would love to track my VHF, VCD, DVD, Blu-ray, HD DVD, UMD, and especially my Laser Disc collection as I have quite a few rare movies and box sets!

This thread proves it can be a great idea, even just stuff like power rangers, tmnt, classics, video game related media, collectors editions, the things that are sought after

please can you look into this again, vhs, dvd, laserdisc, bluray, bluray3d all have niche communities and there is value in these collections, see lddb.com as an example for laserdisc, and bluray.com shows there is an upper and lower value for a lot of movies. You have the best website for everything else would be awesome work if you would enable it again.
