agree but this should only be doable if you are the one who added the product,otherwise trolls will change the names of many correctly listed games, or even delete them.
This is only an admin feature at this time because the product name is part of the url users use to find a page on the site. We can't change the product name without changing this url so we want to make sure admin take this into consideration.
Please let admin know about any product name changes that are needed.
For example, Alan Wake II [Deluxe Edition] will be the only physical release of the game, and there will be no standard edition. That will mean if you exclude variants, the game will not show up under a list of PS5 games. It would be nice to be able to make small updates like these (taking the brackets off for example).
Fixed that particular product. The difficulty would be deciding what is "small update" vs "large update". I agree that it would be nice to let users make changes like this.
I agree that there should be some type of standard for the naming of items. I've seen duplicate entries because one has an extra character than another. Or you see an entry that is missing information in their title. If this is an admin feature then there needs to be a submission for for corrections that could be forwarded to admins to make the final call.
