Separate listings for pre-errata One Piece Cards
There is a number of cards from early One Piece sets like Romance Dawn that have 2 versions of cards that are lumped together. In the community they are called "pre-errata" cards. A perfect example is the Nami op01-016 Alternate Art (not the manga card)
The pre-errata card has a different ability of "reveal 1 {Straw Hat Crew} character type card..." while the corrected version has the ability "reveal up to 1..."
The difference in the price of these cards is hundred of dollars with raw pre-correction (sometimes called first wave or pre-errata) cards going for upwards of about $350 and the corrected version going for upwards of around $175. The graded cards are very different in price with the pre corrected version going for $1000 dollars in some sales vs the corrected version going for about $250-$350 at the moment.
The difference is hard to catch when looking purely at pricecharting. Sometimes the ebay titles list that it is pre-errata but often you would need to click each sale to determine which version for which you are looking at the sale.
As a vendor that uses pricecharting for virtually all of my slab purchases and sales, it would be a HUGE benefit to the community to see a distinct listing for pre-errata cards vs the corrected versions. I actually purchased a corrected version at the pre-correction price because i did not notice, even as a seasoned vendor. Because of my mistake, I am out about 300 dollars since i comped the card at the $650 dollar value when the card i purchased will only go for about $300, $350 if i'm lucky!
I sincerely appreciate the work the pricecharting team does and would appreciate any attention to this matter as well!
Thanks!
