I really like this idea. It would allow users to fully list out games, even the digital ones and where they are stored digitally (by console, steam, etc.)
Super interested in this idea since I own more digital games e.g. Steam, all those Xbox LIVE games for gold games they give out every month, ect. I would like to keep track of my digital library so I don't purchase duplicates of something. Plus some games only came out digital and it's nice to know if I have the entire series. 😁
Well that anonymous comment is me but wasn't signed 😕..... dumb system. Any like I said ...

Any update on this idea?
No update on this. We could add a "digital" checkbox or something for existing games that also have a digital version. That would be pretty straight forward. The part that would be trickier would be the database for all the digital games out there. There are a bunch of digital games released. Most of our users don't want digital games either, so I don't want to clutter up the game list pages with digital items that they are not interested in. So I'd need to figure out a way to handle this to not upset the majority of users.
Could an API be used to login and have the fields automatically update with owned games? I know GOG games does something similar for their app GOG galaxy and they track xbox, humble bundle, epic, PlayStation, steam, etc Totally agree though on digital games personally are not top of my list BUT as time has gone on things like the Xbox 360 servers which are going to be shut down in one month (End of July 2024). Its nice to know before its to late as other consoles have and will continue to shut down their services as time goes on sadly.
Thanks for those thoughts. I can see some value to tracking games owned across platforms and physical and digital all in one place. We are focused on physical collectibles at this time though. This is a possibility in the future, but not something we have any immediate plans for.
