iOS App - search / barcode scan - doesn't appear at top of screen

billandjoeebay 7 months ago updated by sales 6 months ago 5

The search bar or barcode scanner doesn't appear at the top of the screen once you are viewing an item. This causes a more un-user-friendly UI experience. At current, due to not having the search bar or barcode scanner available at the top of the screen, the user needs to click back several times just to get back to it. Just like the website, the search bar or barcode scanner should always display at the top of the screen for ease of usability.

You should be able to click the "Home" button and go back to the scan barcode or search by photo option.  No need to click back multiple times.

I'll make a note about adding the scanner links to the top of the page though if you pull down or something.

There is no "Home" button that is visible in the iOS app when you are looking at an item when you use the barcode scanner, only a back arrow.

Can you take a screenshot of what you are seeing in your app?  I see the home icon on both iOS devices I've tried and it should be there.

Using the scanner, this is how it appears in the app. As you can see in the screenshots it only shows a back arrow.

Thanks for this info.  If you got to those pages via UPC scan, you will need to use back button to get back to the UPC scan.  We are looking into fixes for this, but that is the only way to get back there right now.
