The AI should be able to NOT include fake carts labeled "Brand New" (at least in the "loose" category)
We all know reproductions are a huge problem in this industry.
At least those fake carts listed on ebay as ''Brand New" should not be counted in the "loose" sales list.
This is just impossible, it can't be loose and considered "Brand New" if there is no box and manual...
I know you want examples: go see the loose listings for Zelda Minish Cap on GBA, you'll find several very cheap sales (which I already reported) and when you clik on the Ebay sale details you'll see them labeled as "Brand New" so you know it is a fake cart.
Thanks

Can you give me a link to some cards where that is happening? I definitely want to look into that.
We ignore the "brand new" for games on eBay but will include it if the item says "Brand New" or "Sealed" or something similar in the title. If the price is really low, we will usually toss those sales out instead of adding them into the data but some do still squeak through. It isn't always obvious where the cutoff should be on "too cheap" and without understanding images (which our AI doesn't do at this time) it is hard to kick out the correct items with 100% accuracy.
I can't because the ones I reported again this morning have finally been deleted!
They were under Zelda Minish Cap - Game Boy Advance - Loose.
I saw a couple of 30-35$ sales (suspicious for an average 75$ game) and when I clicked on the sales, it led to Ebay pages stating "Brand new" which definately means the cart is a fake.
If you see any more of those sales pop-up in the future. Please do not report them. Let me know directly then I can look into them and see what can be done to prevent them from getting into the sales data at all.
Hi, got one to show you, a little trickyier this time as the "brand new" is stated in the description section.
I'll keep tracking and get back to you when I see one that states "brand new" in the item specific section.
So again, Zelda Minish cap GBA loose listed sold at 14.99$ May 18 (8th row on current Pricecharting listing) https://www.ebay.ca/itm/334876947344?mkevt=1&mkcid=1&mkrid=706-53473-19255-0&campid=5336510469&customid=G2728_forSaleOn-control&toolid=10001
If you look at the item specifics, the seller chose "acceptable condition" but in the "item description from the seller" section it states as below, which clearly means it is a fake cart (not surprising at this ridiculous price):
Legend of Zelda The Minish Cap Game Boy Advance GBA
**U.S. VERSION** - 100% Brand New, High Quality
Thanks. That sale has been deleted. I've added some logic to automatically toss out those sales in the future if the price is too far away from our expected price.
