Deeper Archive Game Variants and Images for "CIB" Reference & Fake Comparison

Anonymous 2 years ago updated 2 years ago 3

I would like to recommend we have a much deeper Archive of Screenshot Data per game in terms of Screenshots or Scans

1 - I would like to upload individual screenshots or Scans of game manual pages preferrably in their own tab for quality purposes or possible fake prints comparison , A manual is only as good as any book , what good is any book missing 7 pages. (I would 100% Recommend a Watermark on any upload to prevent Faking)

2- I would also like to upload Individual Screenshots of Various Angles of Cases including internal assembly of case to prove legitimacy , this would include Advertisements , inserts , reversible covers , Multi Disk Specialised cases , etc  (Unfortunately almost all open games in my own collection have been disassembled to this point insert wise and sorted into file folders for storage saving purposes but I am happy to continue taking new screenshots of internals as freshly opened should it become a relevant feature later)

3- For games from the cartridge Era I would also like to have a subsection on game pages for Sub Variants of Cartridges not individually listed (See Below)
Screenshots of Sub-versions or Variants of Games
, I at one point realised I was running out of games to collect in my own collection locally ( I never order online I believe it should be a treasure hunt so I only nab local or semi local (Within an hour transit) treasures)
Point - I have noticed there are SO many variant versions of each individual game , most details can be seen simply from each games cover Art , So , I started going out of my way to not only nab 1 of every game for every console , but also , One of every different variant version of each individual game , Back in that Era we didnt have DLC Patches , we had Recalls , and/or Re-vision of a Cartridge which are represented by the code on the cartridge itself , the higher the Revision number , The more Bugs , or Exploits have been patched this was generally visible via the "Cartridge Code" on the Front of the game , Usually ending in no Number , a -1 , -2 -3 etc , Regions were also included in the code the the obvious CAN or USA,
I feel some of these cartridges are far more rare than others and we as a community can help identify which are most common or more rare simply based on which versions are added to users collections
For Variant versions we can have quite an overflow of various versions for some games so I would leave those details up to higher administration to decide whether those versions be represented under a new tab on the individual game window itself or the Game Listings for that console (Which would quickly turn into a nightmare as theres already quite a vew obvious versions of some cartridges)
Nowadays theres a very limited number of game versions due to "Downloadable Patching" I enjoy finding versions of my games that are almost un-noticeably different from each other , and will continue to do so
Thank you for Reading

Original Poser saying - I forgot to mention a Watermark we can add for images of KNOWN fakes or reprints , I have several at this point I purchase simply to show others what fakjes look like , I would love to post these images on the game pages when able under a specific location as determined by administration , Thank you very much for any and all who read these posts time.

I truly wish I could just edit these posts to correct their horrendous typoes XD
