Add Limited Run Games Trading Cards

Igor 3 years ago updated by sales 2 years ago 8

Hi!

I have made some research and collect some base data of this part of a game market and could contribute the initial info with series, numbers, titles of a card.

What are these Limited Run games trading cards?  Do they make one with each game they sell?  Or do they sell those trading cards separately?  Sorry I don't know anything about the trading cards from Limited Run.

It's okay, I'll try to describe:

Every card has a

numer (#);

serie (don't know how they calls it exactly) (1st one was completed, now goes 2nd);

silver or gold border;

1st serie

black/white or black/pink back with "LIMITED RUN" logo;

plain silver or gold border;

no title of a game that goes on image.

$ maybe some other characteristics that I'm not found.

2nd serie

title of a game that goes on image;

foil silver or gold border;

colored back with "LIMITED RUN" logo;

1) 1 card adds to each order with game;

2) if you buy bundle you get a complete set of a cards of a game or games that comes in a bundle;

like these: https://limitedrungames.com/collections/everything-sold-out/products/super-meat-boy-fan-bundle

3) you can buy a limited run booster pack (when it's available for purchase);

like these: https://limitedrungames.com/collections/featured-shantae/products/shantae-riskys-revenge-trading-card-set-2-cards

4) if you buy a Blind box, you'll get a random game with random card.

The prices on Ebay are different - some card prices went to the moon, some cheap.

I can also provide my excel table of a card.

The 1st serie content I've got at Reddit from Limited Run Games poll;

The 2nd serie I'm collecting b myself.

It looks like that:

Thank you so much for this very thorough information.  Very helpful.  I didn't even know those cards existed.

I've made some notes on this feature and I'll wait to see how popular it is with other people before doing any work on it.  I'm guessing we would add other trading cards first like YuGiOh but it all depends on user demand.

Yeah, if someone interesting in collecting that cards and support this poll, that would be awesome!

More trustworthy data and analytics for people - the better.

I've found Pricecharting almost at start of collecting the games and it was very helpful to form an opinion about a deals.

Thanks for moving forward and make try

Just sorted the cards I own, thought to check if Pricecharting had a tab for that. Seconding this suggestion for sure, would be very handy (and would probably also be the primary source people would go to when selling them, as there isn't a lot of value documentation to help with the scattered sale listings).

Worth noting: Limited Run Games maintains an official spreadsheet of every release here:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1S784sbNad1MpnXgyknr0E3nI0I2MvjeLNVJQpiZJEtE/htmlview

Every card would require a Silver page and a Gold page. I think that'd essentially be like the difference between Standard and 1st Editions of stuff like Magic, or YGO.

Thank you for the link to that spreadsheet.  That makes it very handy to add when the time comes.  What is the physical difference between Silver and Gold?  The back side of the card?  Or the border?  Or something else?

Physical difference between silver and gold in a border color on a face of the card (please look for pictures that I've provided already).
