Sealed trading card data/pricing

Anonymous 4 years ago updated 2 years ago 3

I love tracking the value of my individual Pokémon card collection, but I also have some sealed stuff that I’d like to track too using your website. Any chance you could add sealed product data?

What are these boxes called in Pokemon world?  Blaster box, wax pack, etc???  I'll look into adding these if you can give me a bit more info about them.

  • 36 booster pack boxes are “Booster Boxes” or (BB for short). They typically go for $140 MSRP
  • 8/10 booster pack boxes are “Elite Trainer Boxes”. They typically go for $40-$50 MSRP
  • Single booster packs that contain 10-11 cards are typically listed as “Booster Pack” and we’re probably removed/sold from a Booster Box or removed from a specialty box like an Elite Trainer Box (ETB for short)
  • A booster pack wrapped in protective cardboard is called a “Sleeved Booster Pack” and goes for $4 MSRP. They are the same  as a booster pack but are supposed to try to keep people from resealing solo boosters
  • A booster pack with a promo card and coin is called a “Checklane Booster” or checklane blister and goes for $5 MSRP. The name blister and booster are interchangeable.
  • A “Prerelease Kit” or “Build and Battle Box” come with a prearranged deck and 4 booster packs. They go for $20 MSRP.
  • “Theme Decks” come with a prearranged deck of playable cards for beginners and go for $13 MSRP
  • “Collection Boxes”, “Premium Boxes”, or anything with “Tin” in the name comes with 4-20 booster packs, some promo cards and probably a coin or pin.
    • Cases - you can buy cases of just about anything. May not be worth adding

does tcgplayer helps for sealed product purpose ?
